The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an HGV Valeter to join the team at our depot in Stirling. The role will require our HGV vehicles in preparation for new hires, MOT exchanges, and general upkeep of the vehicles.

The successful candidate must hold a full current driver’s licence. An HGV licence would be preferred but is not essential as training may be provided to obtain this qualification. If an HGV licence is held, responsibilities will include delivering and collecting of company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with road safety regulations.

Location:

The role is based in Plean, Falkirk, Scotland FK7 8BJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, wash and valet all company vehicles for all routine maintenance including PMI’s and MOT prep
• Clean, wash and valet all company vehicles in preparation for new hires, off hires and vehicle exchanges
• Ensure all vehicles prepared for hire are up to company standards
• Ensure safety of vehicle, check oil, tyres, screen wash etc.
• Test drive vehicles if required (if qualified to do so)
• Deliver and/or collect vehicles to and from customers, always liaising professionally with customers (if qualified to do so)
• Assist with site/yard maintenance

Experience:

• Valeting: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• Class C HGV Licence (preferred)
